Chocolate Hole is just a 5 minute drive to the downtown area where there are numerous bars and restaurants. The place itself has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms so it's great for a bunch of friends and/or couples. All rooms are very private. The house itself is set on a cliff overlooking the ocean and the views will make you want to come back again and again! We had such an amazing time. Highly recommend! Never having been to St. John's we relied on reviews to select a 'perfect paradise'. Villa Serendipity filled the bill! It was close enough to the restaurants and night life but far enough away to provide the privacy and serenity we craved. The well appointed kitchen, expanse of windows in the living/dining area and outdoor bar and pool were wonderful! The breezeway with access to the bar-b-que provided a cool respite in the afternoon. Beaches, stores, beachfront bars were easily accessed due to the proximity of the Villa , yet when you pulled into the driveway you found yourself in a tranquil spot with scenic views from the duel decks. Sunrise to sunset....a true Paradise!!! We will surely return ..... We have been going to St. John nearly every year for the past 20 years. Although we loved every villa we stayed at, we've always wanted to try a different one always looking for a better location and one to fit our growing family. Villa Serendipity was perfect in every way. Lots of privacy with each bedroom having its own full bath. Kitchen had everything we could have possibly needed, outdoor bar and pool area had the afternoon sun which we had lacked at other villas. Location to town was ideal, just a 5 minute drive. View was incredable with a lovely sunset. Villa Serendipity was ideal for myself, husband, adult children and 20 month old grandson! Looking forward to go back again!
